Dynamic Reaction Cell
The Dynamic Reaction Cell helps remove ICP-MS interferences by performing gas phase chemical reactions and interactions to preferentially exclude certain species and allow only the analyte ions to the quadrupole and detector.
So far, we have used NH3 and H2 gas to reduce polyatomic interferences such as 56ArO on 56Fe and 80Ar2 on 80Se.
