About
I received my B.Sc, M.Res and Ph.D from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. After graduating I relocated from Australia to the UK, taking up a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in the Department of Materials at the University of Manchester. In 2023, I took up my second Postdoctoral Research Associate position at the University of Cambridge with Olivier Shorttle looking at mantle carbon reservoirs.
Research
I am an igneous petrologist with a focus on analytical geochemistry, high-pressure experiments, and programming (Python, R). My interests lie in mantle processes under both sub- and super-solidus conditions and their influence on generating various compositions of mantle-derived melts. Currently I am working on mantle carbon reservoirs by studying olivine hosted melt inclusions.
