Education:

2015-present: PhD Candidate, Dept. Earth Sciences, University of Cambridge

2012-2015: Physics (MPhys), University of Durham

Specialised in: Astrophysics, Astronomical Instrumentation, Atmospheric Physics, Numerical Modelling

2010-2012: Mechanical Engineering, University of Bath

Studied for two years before transferring to Durham University to study physics.

 

Key Relevant Previous Professional Experience:

UK Met Office - Research Scientist Intern, Remote Sensing, Observations R&D (Responsible for undertaking research for the further development and improvement of the lightning detection system, ATDnet.)

 

 

Research Interests

Sub-Glacial Processes - Specifically constraining processes under glaciers using seismicity

Ice Dynamics - Specifically the interaction of ice with rock, magma or similar and how ice flows in such environments

Volcano Seismology - Specifically using seismicity to investigate the Bardarbunga volcanic system
