The Department of Earth Sciences extends its welcome to visitors. Computing services are provided by the University and Department as set out below.
Computing accounts allocated to visitors are determined by the duration of their stay within the Department, and how their host arranged the account. For short stays, visitors may not be allocated a computing account at all.
The following tables shows a guideline of what is available to visitors, by the duration of their stay:

Visitors who already have an Eduroam account issued by their own institute, can use their account to connect to the wireless network. If a network connection is only required from a mobile device, there is no need to register.
