I am interested in the petrogenesis of Archaean-Proterozoic boundary granitoids and their potential implications for the Great Oxidation Event. For this, I have used the redox sensitive Thallium stable isotope system to constrain igneous processes guiding the evolution of these magmas. I am generally inclined towards developing the Thallium isotope toolkit for applications in tracing seawater redox conditions pre-GOE.

My other interest lies in study of crust-mantle interactions and high-temperature igneous processes in modern magmatism including those considered to be Archaean granitoid equivalents.
