Biography

I am a PhD student, researching paleoclimate with a particular interest in paleoceanography and geochemistry. My research project aims to constrain the ocean's role in atmospheric CO2 change, using foraminiferal geochemistry. I aim to use a range of geochemical proxies, including stable isotopes and trace metals over the last glacial period, in particular MIS 4 to study abrupt CO2 variability and the mechanisms behind it. This will hopefully help us to better understand future climate change with extremely high anthropogenic CO2 levels.
