Research Interests

I use field observations, petrography, microscopy, geochemistry and phase-equilibria modelling to
advance our understanding of Earth's oldest crust.

I aim to link metamorphic and igneous petrology with structural geology to model the behaviour of the
crust during mountain-building (orogenic) events.

I will utilise our improved understanding of tectonic, magmatic, metamorphic and metasomatic processes
during orogenic events to better constrain the genesis of economically important mineral deposits.
